All participants and their accompanying persons are cordially invited to attend.

[ November 11, 14:00-17:30, JPY 3,000 per person ]The trip will provide you with an opportunity to visit some of the famous historical and cultural sites in Kyoto including the Kinkakuji Temple and the Nijo Castle among others. We hope you will enjoy the scenic, autumnal views in this ancient capital city.

Kinkakuji was built in 1397 as a country villa for Ashikaga Yoshimitsu (1358-1408: the 3rd Shogun of the Muromachi Period).
Nijo Castle was built in 1603 as the Kyoto residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Period (1603-1867). His grandson Iemitsu completed the castle's palace buildings 23 years later and further expanded the castle by adding a five story castle keep.

This tour will be provided by the JTB Corp., the official travel agency of the Conference.
Those who would like to attend the excursion are requested to make a reservation at JTB via the Conference website.

[ November 11, 18:30-20:30, JPY 3,000 per person ]Younger participants (including students) are encouraged to join the mixer.
The invited speakers, committee members, and chairpersons are requested to join it.
Banquet
[ November 12, 19:00-21:00, JPY 10,000 per person ]The conference banquet will be held at the Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto on Thursday evening.
